Se presenta una composición de imágenes que ilustra la morfología floral y reproductiva de Besleria bella (Gesneriaceae), una nueva especie de hierba sufrutescente descrita para la región de la cuenca del Magdalena Medio, en el departamento de Santander, Colombia. Besleria bella se distingue de sus congéneres por presentar pedicelos continuos con el cáliz, ambos de color anaranjado, un receptáculo elongado y un ovario con cinco glándulas nectarias, este último un carácter no registrado previamente en el género.
