Once we obtained the indexing in Scopus, we filed the request to include the Revista de la Academia Colombiana de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales in the Core Collection of the Web of Science database managed by Clarivate.
Increasing our scientific impact
On May 5, 2024, the scientific impact indicator CiteScore assigned by Scopus for journals indexed in this prestigious international database was updated.
The Revista de la Academia Colombiana de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales obtained a value of 0.9, surpassing the 0.7 score in 2023. This comes hand in hand with the increase in the percentile of our journal compared to other journals in the same disciplinary category, placing it in the 60th percentile compared to the 50th percentile in 2023.

On May 5, 2021, the CiteScore impact indicator was updated for scientific journals indexed in Scopus. In this version, the Journal of the Colombian Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences obtained the value 0.4, doubling the results obtained in the 2020 version.
This is due to the progressive indexing process that is being carried out with the Scopus database, which allows the number of documents in the index to increase and the citations that these documents have obtained in recent years to be added.
