Abstract
We intend to analyse sorne of the main periods of the evolution of geometry. Our interest is focused in those trends which led to non-Euclidian geometry. The conceptual framework adopted for interpreting the involved historical processes are provided by a constructivist epistemology; our goal is to show that the construction of non-Euclidian geometry can be best interpreted from that conceptual framework.
