Abstract

For several years now, two-dimensional (2D) nanometric materials have directed researchers’ interest toward the increasingly detailed study of their properties and how these can be used to make our lives incredibly efficient by developing increasingly advanced technological applications. However, very little has been revealed about an effect known as Moiré that, in 2D materials, has generated super properties that could be useful in the recovery of energy, the elimination of compounds by photocatalytic processes, or even in the photodetector industry.
