Abstract

A new species of the genus Atelopus from the Eastern slope of the Cordillera Central, Antioquia, 1500m, is named and described. lt is compared with A. minutulus, A. nicefori, A. quimbaya, A. sernai. The use of the coloration pattern of tadpoles as an additional element for species differentiation is discussed.
