Abstract
In the area comprised between Florencia and Fraguita hamlet, of southwestern Caquetá Department there is completely different lithology than that of the Upper Magdalena Valley. The geologic events are completely different in these areas. In southwestem Caquetá there were episodes of magmatism not registered before in the geologic literature of Colombia. There are in Caquetá many wrench faults which put in contact pieces of territory which present different lithologic assemblages.
