Abstract
Toe relative abundance of fossils into the early Barremian sedimentary rocks of the Paja Formation in the Villa de Leyva area (Boyacá - Colombia) allowed collection of an important quantity of ammonites.
Into this succession Nicklesia pulchella (D'Orbigny) was found together with an aptychus, which is the first discovery for the rocks of Colombia.
