Abstract

Twelve species of wood-boring bivalves, ten of the family Teredinidae and two of the family Pholadidae, were collected in mangroves at 6 locations on the Pacific coast of Colombia. This paper presents a brief description of these species, including size, ecological notes, and geographical distribution.
