Abstract

This paper presents the methodology employed to consolidate stable sol and to make up thin ceramics films of SiO2-ZrO2 and SiO2-TiO2 from Tetrabutoxytitanium (TBT), Tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) and the Tetrabutoxyzirconium (TBZ) by using the method known as sol-gel. This study is focused mainly on the characterization of the dielectrics properties of the ceramic one by means of Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). Additionally, it was carried out an analysis with Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM) to determine the homogeneity of the coatings. It was found that for the same concentration conditions and extraction speed the anticorrosive answer of the ceramic films deposited on stainless steel AISI304 substrates is more efficient than for the films deposited on steel to the coal.
