Abstract
In this paper is studied the Phakopsoraceae family (Uredinales), is delimited its range defining each teliomorphic genera and given taxonomic status to the anamorphic genera. Five anamorphic and one teliomorphic genera are proposed and described. It is accepted the genus Catenulopsora Mundkur. Descriptions, sinonimy and types, are presented for each genera. This work is a part of a series which study taxonomically the family Phakopsoraceae with emphasis in Neotropics.
