Abstract
A new species of Dendrosida subgenus Oxypetalae is described from Colombia. Dendrosida cuatrecasasii extends the genus to the Southern Cordillera Central of Colombia. Systematic and biogeographical comments are also presented on Dendrosida subgenus Oxypetalae and related species.
