Abstract

Podandrogyne colombiana Iltis & Cochrane, a dark purple-flowered species with few large seeds, is described. The following new combinations are made: P. densiflora (Benth.) Iltis & Cochrane (Gynandropsis densiflora Benth.), P. densiflora forma pallens (Tr. & Pl.) Iltis & Cochrane (Cleome densiflora var. pallens Tr. & Pl.) and P. trichopus (Benth.) Iltis & Cochrane (G. trichopus Benth.).
