Abstract

Six new species of Acanthaceae from Colombia are described: Ruellia cuatrecasasii from depto. Antioquia, R. calimensis from Valle, Aphelandra tetroicia from Antioquia, A. antioquiensis from Antioquia, Justicia cuatrecasasii from Vaupés, and J. kirkbridei from Magdalena. The new taxa are described, illustrated, and compared with their closest relatives.
