Abstract

A new species of Diplostephium, series Denticulata (D. jenesanum S. Díaz & M.E. Morales), is described and illustrated. The new taxon shows affinity to D. dentatum Cuatrec. and is characterized by its bullate leaves and its heads with fewer flowers.
