Abstract

Two new species of Espeletia Mutis ex Humb. & Bonpl. and a new species of Espeletopsis Cuatrec. are named, described and illustrated. These new taxa were recorded in northern Colombia, Guanentá Flora and Fauna Sanctuary Paramo of Rabanal in Samaca-Boyacá. Additionally, new status for a variety of E. jimenes-quezadae (Cuatrec.) Cuatrec. and a subspecies of E. brachyaxiantha S. Díaz are proposed.
