Resumen

La flora de hepáticas de Colombia es muy rica. Cerca del 60% de las especies de América tropical y una sexta parte de las hepáticas del mundo están presentes en Colombia. El país tiene más especies que toda el África al sur del Sahara y casi dos veces más que Europa.

El nuevo catálogo de hepáticas de Colombia acepta 840 especies (en 36 familias y 136 géneros): 832 especies de Hepaticae y 8 de Anthocerotae.
