Resumen

Se presenta un nuevo modelo estratégico para manejar recursos bióticos en zonas de conservación y desarrollo integral. El modelo pretende proveer una metodología para analizar la presencia de recursos bióticos y la relación fenológica de los productos, y, por consiguiente, su flujo de caja. Este análisis ofrece a las autoridades de la comunidad que manejan la zona la oportunidad de agregar cuidadosamente otras microempresas. El seguimiento constante de la extracción y el flujo resultante permite el manejo por adaptación. Aunque el modelo no pretende involucrarse en el cálculo prospectivo de bienes a largo plazo, se provee un guion para medir el levantamiento del programa y el seguimiento del desarrollo.
