Resumen
Oscaecilia polyzona is reported from two additional localities in the Middle Magdalena. Data are provided for 13 additional specimens and call into question the use of certain characters as means of distinguishing species. Oscaecilia polyzona is an abundant species in poorly drained shaded soils in eastern Caldas.
