Abstract

The name Aegiphila reticulata Mold., based on sterile specimens from the Herbarium of the Royal Botanical Expedition of the New Kingdom of Granada, is excluded from the genus Aegiphila. The identity of A. reticulata Mold. with the species Ron deletia pubescens H.B.K (Rubiaceae) is established.
