Abstract
Twelve species are recognized of the genus Hyalinobatrachium in Colombia. Three new species are named including two from the slopes of the Cordillera Oriental and one from the Serranía de Chiribiquete in the colombian Amazon. A review of the characters used in the systematics and taxonomy of species of Hyalinobatrachium is provided.
