Abstract
Three Nothrotheres are described from the La Venta Fauna; one confirms the presence of Hapalops, the second is the first record of Eucholoeops (E. aff.fronto) and the third, Huilabradys magdaleniensis, is proposed as a new genus and species. The affinities of the three taxa are established after the comparison with Argentinian and Bolivian Nothrotheres. Morphological and dental features of H. magdaleniensis are considered within the evolutionary scheme of the Nothrotheriinae.
