Abstract
Five new species of Meliaceae, are described and illustrated: Guarea lozanni. G. quadrangularis, G. penningtoniana, Trichilia carinata and T. oligofoliolata. The two first species belong to the región of Taraira in the Guaviarc, the third to the massif of Chiribiquete, the fourth and fifth correspond to the Andean región in the departamento of the Tolima.
