Abstract
During the period of November 1996 through September 1997 field expeditions were made to an artificial body of water in the Region of Anchicayá, Pacific Colombian, investigating aspects of the ecology of Agalychnis spurrelli: body size of individuals, intra and interspecific interaction, how they behave during amplexus and oviposition, where they lay their eggs, characteristics of their clutches and predation. Eleven other species of anurans were found around this body of water in which, Smilisca phaeota and Hyla rosenbergi also exhibit reproductive activity but because of differences in singing location, type of song and place of oviposition do not compete with A. spurrelli, successfully achieving a division of water resources.
