Abstract
The second species of Garcibarrigoa is described and illustrated. Toe new taxa is native to the east flank of the eastern range of the Colombian Andes and is characterized by: oblanceolate, glabrescent and attenuate lea ves; calyculus with double number of bracts; and ligulate flowers with staminodia and without papillae. A species key is included.
