Abstract

We record 10 species of lizards found in the Botanical Garden of Barranquilla (Colombia), because of 48 days and 11 nights of search between Decembers of 1999 to October 2000 and February and March of 2004. We make short comments of species and their spatial distribution for habitats. There is an apparent concentration of species among the leaf litter, such as Lepidoblepharis sanctaemartae, Bachia bicolor, and Gymnophthalmus speciosus, among others. Additionally, we provide a taxonomic key of lizards occurring in the Botanical Garden of Barranquilla.
