Abstract
A synopsis of Colombian Anemia is presented. The genus has 14 species and one hybrid. These are distributed widely in Colombia, but the greatest concentration is in Andean region, and occur to 2500 m. A. ferruginea, A. phyllitidis y A. villosa are the most widely distributed. A key to species is presented and for each one a short description is given, with comments about geographical and altitudinal distribution.
