Abstract
A new frog species, Eleutherodactylus rnsaguae sp. nov., is described, inhabiting the high Andean forests of the northwestern part of the Sabana de Bogotá, bordering the municipalities of Cogua and Facatativá in the department of Cundinamarca. The species belongs to the subgenus Eleutherodactylus and the unistrigatus species group, and appears to be related to E. anolirex found in the paramos and montane forests in the northern part of the Cordillera Oriental, in the departments of Santander and Norte de Santander.
