Abstract

We present and name a new (Microteidae) species of the genus Anadia coming from the coffee zone in Santander departament, on the western slope of the oriental mountain range of Colombia. The new taxon (Anadia bumanguesa) can be referable to the bitaeniata group and can be easily recognized because of the great amount of transversal dorsal scales and its distinctive color pattern
